Living sustainably can in the long run saves you some serious cash.

Light bulb. We are so used to our 60 watts at £1.00 at the pound shop. But did you know, by planning in advance to have a Climate compliant low energy bulb, you save both on your electrical consumption and on the lifetime of the bulb?

Not everyone can afford Quinoa. Do you know that barley and bulgur or cousous can be cheaper if you go to large ethnic shop (Turkish) rather than standard supermarket?

You do not have to buy your plant milk from the Alpro range, infact, Lidl soy milk is better for my coffee and is 3x cheaper.

You do not HAVE to shop at Holland & Barrett just like many don’t shop at Waitrose. Shop where you budget lead, dont buy weird stuff like Chia seed, don’t juice celery, it is a waste of £££ cook with it instead.

Instead if buying every piece of clothing new, re-invent the old and use charity shop. Exchange everything else using Olio application it is a fantastic app.

Start with those and follow @WasteNotReUse and @isitdanidawks the master #upCycler on Instagram for some great tips. Have fun. Don’t complicate it.

Now save the post, you’ll need it. 😉

Let’s think global while acting local in our homes first.

🌏It is not so hard to get Back to Basics.
🌏Eco Living is possible.
👌Be the change where you want to see change. It starts with you.
🌏Ecology is not someone else’s responsibility.
🌏Going Green is not so hard if you look closer.
👍Zero Waste Living is just an expression, it is not possible 100% of the time, but you can start somewhere. Research and start. Why not freeze your bread and left over herbs?

So. Where will you start your contribution to the climate change debate?

Do you still think COP26 is out of reach for you?
